Usually I don't write down pattern or record what I have done for my amigurumi,
some of my friends asked me if I can give the pattern to them...
I never learn how to write a crochet pattern so it's a tough mission for me...

I hope they will work out well :)

Assembly:
- Sew the eyes and nose on the face
- Stuff the head with fiberfill (I stuffed more fiberfill in the head to make some weight)
- Sew the face on the head
- Stuff just enough fiberfill into the tummy (leave the neck, we don't need any filling here, this is how we make it look "sleepy" :))
- Stuff just a little to the arms and foot, leave the opening free of filling
- Do not stuff the ears, sew them to the head
- Sew all the arms and foot on the body
- and Finally, attach the head to the body

TA-DAA!! :D

  6. hi, cute pattern! will give it a try next... but one question, how do u make the body and head 'fuzzy'? sorry, but i'm a new crocheter/amigurumi fan.

    ReplyDelete
  7. RE: stargal,

Hi thanks for leaving a comment :)

to make a fuzzy amigurumi, all you have to do is to make it with a fuzzy yarn. :)

    One tip for you:
After finish crocheting, make sure to pull/grab as much fuzz as you can (since the fuzz part usually twisted with the core of the yarn)
the crochet hook itself is the best tool to do that :)

hope that help with your question!
if you have any other questions feel free to leave me a message.
    happy hooking :)

  9. I want to make the baby sheep~! What is a L11 hook - US size?

    ReplyDelete
  10. oh cool! and all these while i thot i can only use those fuzzy yarns for knitting, coz it'll be difficult to hook a fuzzy yarn in crocheting. ok, would definitely give it a go!

and thanks for the tips! :)

  11. RE: anonymous :)

    L11 hook is a 8mm hook

    RE: stargal
yea it's kinda hard to see for the first time, don't make it too tight, you will be able to see better :)

  16. About how large did that sheep come out to be? Do you use American or English gauge/hooks? SWEEEEEEEET pattern

    ReplyDelete
  17. sorry for the late reply

    RE: reem
To start: Chain 1, and then make 7 sc in a ring, and then pull the starting to close the ring. :)

    RE: bittany
the sheep will be 12 inches tall and 7.75 inches wide. So it is like a size of a baby doll. :)
I use american gauge and hooks.

    happy hookin'!

  19. Pattern Corrections:
On "Arms and Foot" and "Ears" Round 2 should say "2sc in each st around"

I've completed a head and body and they went very smoothly. I worked in continuous rounds and didn't join because I wasn't sure how you'd meant to do it. I was also unclear on the last rounds whether you left the head and body open with the 14 sc or kept decreasing to close. I left it open and plan to stitch the 14 on the head and 14 on the body together.

Also, another note, with the fuzzy yarn, I found it easier to turn the piece inside-out when complete so the fuzziest bits were on the outside. Starting on the next bits tomorrow. I'll post a link to the picture when complete. Yours turned out just so darned cute!!!

  20. Thanks so much for sharing the pattern. This is one of the cutest amigurumi I have ever seen. As soon as I found your pattern I had to make one. Next time I was thinking of maybe using the loop stitch because I don't have any fuzzy yarn and while he was cute, mine wasn't as cute as your fuzzy one! If I make one with the loop stitch I will link a picture for you! Here is the link to my craftster post with pics of the one I made! Again, thanks so much!

  28. Thank you so much for this adorable pattern! It was my first amigurumi project (I even learned how to crochet while working on this) so it's a little off. I wish my head turned out as round as yours. I used 100% natural fibers: bamboo, wool, and cotton.

  31. Just a quick question... As I read through the pattern on the Arms & feet, it says in Rnd 9: *dec, sc in each of next st* around (9). However, that only decreases one stitch. Other decreases say each of next #st -- should there be a number in this round, as well?

    ReplyDelete
  32. <3love it, so cute!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. RE Myrna,

Thanks for bringing up the concern, for better understanding I think I should change it to "Rnd 9: *dec, sc in next st* around". So it should be dec + one sc, dec + one sc...and the last st will be dec.

feel free to ask me if you have any questions! :D enjoy!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Thank you for this pattern! :) I made one, and I have to admit yours is so much better... lol~ :X

  35. a 12 in. pattern is a little too big what I'm doing. Could I change the hook to a smaller size to make it 5-7 inches?

  36. Sorry I didn't post this in my last comment, but would you say this is a more or less a easy pattern? I am already good at sewing, But I am somewhat new to crocheting. Thanks! I love the sheep!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Thanks for sharing this pattern!! I just made my first little sheep and fell in love with her <3

ps: I'd like to point out a couple of typos on rnd 2 in 'Arms & Foot' and 'Ears'. It says 'sc in each st around (14)' instead of '2 sc' :-)

  39. Great pattern!
me too I'm writing a pattern for amigurumi cakes because I've been asked to publish them by an English editor and it's so so difficult to me!!!!! I never use patterns to make my amigurumis, my grandma taught me how to crochet without patterns... so I suppose it will be a mission to me too :(

  49. Hello!! This is the most adorable stuffed animal for crochet I have seen. I am actually making it right now, just finished the second arm. I wanted to tell you I noticed one minor error in the pattern. For the Arms & Feet it says to dec and stitch in the next for a total of 9 stitches, but it should be an even number? I just ended that round with the last dec and started the next round. I don't think it's a big deal. My daughter is excited to have it done and I will be sure to send pics!! Thank you again for the great pattern!! I may make many for christmas <3

I was just wondering if it were possible to use this pattern for fundraising? I understand that you shouldn't use a pattern like this for profit, and i would never dream of doing such a thing, but one of the women saw my sheep i made and wanted one for her cancer group's fundraising raffle.

Hopefully it is cool, but if it isn't, please tell me!

And joining the cozy throng 7's Cordonnerie. Run by Fred Rolland, it fits in with the passage's rich and long history with superb artisans and enviable craftsmanship, by offering the very best in Christian louboutin sale shoe care, repairs and being the only cobbler in the world to replace battered cheap louboutin shoes red soles with spanking new ones! Should you worship, destroy or just relish slurping bubbly from your Christian louboutin shoes - the Cordonneris is for you. Slip in, soak up the pale pistachio painted walls,1930s silver lamos, Acacia shoe bar and either splurge on the special edition creams, horse hair brushed and non-gas sprays or sink onto a stool and watch Minuit Moins 7's elves perform their magic.
